VFW Post 5812 Hosts Arkansas Flywheelers Tractor Pulls

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. — Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5812 welcomed the Arkansas Flywheelers for a weekend of tractor pulls held April 11–12, drawing a strong crowd on the opening day of the event.

Attendees gathered at the post to enjoy the sights and sounds of antique tractors competing in the pulls.

VFW Post 5812 provided food service throughout the weekend, offering meals and refreshments to spectators and participants alike. Organizers noted the positive turnout on Saturday reflected the community’s enthusiasm for the annual event and appreciation for family-friendly local entertainment.

In recognition of the partnership and hospitality shown by the post, representatives of the Arkansas Flywheelers presented the incoming VFW Post 5812 Commander, Peter Raleigh, with a commemorative plaque as a token of gratitude for hosting the event. The successful collaboration highlighted the strong relationship between local veterans and community organizations, bringing together residents for a weekend of fellowship, food, and friendly competition.
